1.Using Casibay
Casibay is an online classified ads platform for people in Ghana. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Casibay.
You must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to post ads or create an account.
2.Your account
Give us accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so tell us quickly if you think someone else is using it.
We may limit or suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk.
3.Posting ads
Ads must be honest, accurate and legal. You may only post items or services you have the right to sell, and photos must show the real item.
Do not post the same ad many times, put an ad in the wrong category, or use misleading prices or descriptions.
How long an ad stays live depends on your plan. On the Free plan an ad stays live for 14 days and you can have up to 5 live ads at a time. You can renew an ad from My ads, pause it, mark it as sold, edit it or delete it at any time. To stop spam, each account can post up to 10 new ads in 24 hours.
4.Items and services not allowed
You must not post illegal goods, stolen items, counterfeit or fake products, weapons, drugs, adult content, or anything that breaks the law in Ghana.
We may remove any ad that breaks these rules or that we believe could harm other people.
5.Chat and contacting sellers
Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten or cheat other users, and never ask anyone to send money before they have seen the item.
Phone numbers are shown so that buyers can ask about an ad. Do not collect phone numbers or other user information in bulk, and do not use them for unwanted marketing. To protect sellers, we limit how many phone numbers one account can view each day.
6.Deals between users
Casibay helps buyers and sellers find each other. We are not a party to any sale and we do not guarantee any item, service, buyer or seller.
You are responsible for your own deals. Please read our Safety tips, meet in public places, inspect items before paying and never pay in advance.
7.Reports and removals
You can report an ad or a chat that looks like a scam or breaks these terms. We may review reports and take action, including removing ads, limiting features or suspending accounts.
An ad removed by Casibay cannot be restored by the seller.
8.Your content
You keep ownership of the text and photos you post. By posting them you allow Casibay to display them on the platform so your ad can be seen.
9.Limits on our responsibility
We work hard to keep Casibay running well, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent allowed by law, Casibay is not responsible for losses that come from deals between users.
10.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
11.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Using Casibay after a change means you accept the new terms.
